Limestone Poultry Grit is an additional supplement to a hens daily feed requirements. We recommend that Limestone Poultry Grit is provided in a seperate container and fed on an ad-lib basis for hens to peck at when required. It is not recommended to be mixed with their daily feed.

The small rock particle size (up to 3mm) will be used by the hen in the gizzard to assist in grinding up feed and will aid digestion.

The calcium content of the limestone helps strengthen the shell of the chicken eggs, and keep the hens bones strong and healthy.​
